Between 1–3 September 2025, Gabriel Ralile, researcher at the FGV Centre for Global Law (CPDG) and the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence on EU–Latin America Global Challenges (CEJM), co-funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ programme, represented Professor Paula Wojcikiewicz Almeida at the 2025 National Meeting of the Jean Monnet Brazil Network.

The meeting included academic presentation sessions among network members, as well as institutional engagements with representatives of the European Union Delegation in Brazil and the Brazilian Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI).

During the event, Gabriel presented the main activities of the CEJM, highlighting its core research dimensions—Global Regulation; International Dispute Settlement; Human Rights and Democracy; and Climate Change and Forests—as well as its teaching and training initiatives, including the Rio Course on Regional and International Dispute Settlement (Rio CRIDS) and the Rio School on Global Governance, Democracy and Human Rights.

The meeting provided an important platform for academic exchange and institutional dialogue aimed at strengthening cooperation between Brazil and the European Union.

The CEJM expressed its gratitude to representatives of the EU Delegation and MCTI, as well as to the organizers and participants, for their support and hospitality throughout the event.
