About the event
The Centre for Global Law (CPDG) and the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence (CEJM), co-funded by the European Commission under the Erasmus+ programme, in partnership with the FGV Rio Law Graduate Programme, will hold a seminar entitled ‘The Role of Model Contracts In “Regulating” the Petroleum Industry in Brazil and Beyond’, delivered by lawyer and professor Norman Nadorff. The main purpose of the seminar is to encourage an in-depth discussion on the role of model contracts in regulating the oil industry in Brazil and beyond.
Norman Nadorff is Special Counsel at Mayer Brown, practising in Houston and Rio de Janeiro. He has also been a professor at the University of Houston Law Centre since 2012. In 2024, he was a Fulbright recipient as an Oil & Gas Specialist at FGV Rio Law and is currently Co-Chair of the AIEN Model Host Government Agreement Committee.
